The follow-up of Euler's replacement core door: Great Wall wants to use 300 million yuan to settle complaints, and the car owner points back that the terms are tricky

"This is called compensation? This is a beggar who uses me as a regular relief fund!" On December 10th, Liu Qing (a pseudonym), the owner of Shanghai Oula Good Cat, received a compensation plan from the 4S shop, but he did not agree with it. Not satisfied.
On December 6-7, CCTV's two consecutive days of naming the cat to change the core door incident, Euler Automobile was also pushed to the forefront. (Previously, it was reported that "Eula Good Cat is accused of dual standards, domestic reduction of Intel, but India uses Qualcomm flagship") Oula officially released a new compensation plan on December 9th, increasing the vehicle lifetime warranty and 10,000 This is the solution that Liu Qing got for free charging rights.
Compared with the previous rights package worth 7,200 yuan, Euler seems to have finally shown sincerity this time. The charging rights of 10,000 yuan seem to be even more cost-effective than replacing a Qualcomm car with a cost of several thousand yuan. But Liu Qing said that it is not so simple to get the 10,000 yuan compensation.
Compensation schemes are too restrictive
Judging from the compensation rules disclosed by car owners, Euler has set a lot of constraints on the use of rights, such as restricting the use of the first car owner, restricting the use of the car, and commercial vehicles not in the scope of compensation. At the same time, 10,000 yuan is not a full one-time recharge to the user's charging account, but 1,000 yuan once. When the user's account balance is less than 100 yuan, you need to go to the 4S store to apply for a recharge, and a total of 10 recharges. In addition, when applying for recharge, you need to submit ID cards, driving permits, photos of vehicles and mileage, etc.
Liu Qing told us: "The conditions are so harsh and the steps are so cumbersome. This is how to enjoy the rights." Liu Qing also settled the bill, and we also found more of his dissatisfaction.
Euler Good Cat has sold 33,407 vehicles since its launch in October this year. Each vehicle has a subsidy of 10,000 yuan in electricity bills. Euler will have to pay a total of 334 million. It seems that Euler has paid a huge price for the core door replacement, but Liu Qing calculated that it would take 10 years or even longer for ordinary consumers like him to use up the 10,000 yuan charging rights.
Euler's main model has a range of 401 kilometers, a battery capacity of 45.99-47.9kWh, and a theoretical power consumption of about 12kWh per 100 kilometers. We add charging loss, battery life discount, and annual air conditioning, and calculate based on the actual power consumption of 20kWh per 100 kilometers. The pile is enough for 270.5 0-100 recharges, which can be converted into a driving mileage of 108,500 kilometers.
A large number of consumers buy smaller electric cars like Euler to pick up children, buy food, and travel in the city. They are positioned as the second car in the family. This also leads to the mileage of this car will not be too much. Liu Qing said: "I only drive 10,000 kilometers in the urban area a year, and the electricity bill of 10,000 yuan is enough for me to use it for 11 years."
If calculated according to the average 5-year car replacement cycle of Chinese consumers, most people don't even use the 5,000 yuan charging rights. If the main valley is charging, the electricity cost of 10,000 yuan or even 15 years/150,000 kilometers may be exchanged for 3,000 yuan in 5 years. Of course, if it is used for online car-hailing, a high-intensity car can absorb 10,000 yuan in electricity costs in two years. But Euler excludes operating vehicles in the compensation agreement. Therefore, owners who buy online car-hailing or want to work part-time online car-hailing are no longer within the scope of compensation.
